go on a trip

why volunteer?

1040i makes the greatest impact when people volunteer their time and resources. Join us for a life-changing trip, a chance to live in a reality so different than your own, meet new people, and see new places. People all over the world deserve access to clean drinking water, healthcare and education - you can be a part of our mission to provide this for the people of Côte d’Ivoire!

Every individual has something to bring to the table; whether it’s medical expertise, construction experience, language/communication skills, or simply a strong desire to help and make a difference in our world.  ALL are welcome!  Print out an application and send it our way!

  • Tents! We have one house available for some of the women. Couples will be given the option to sleep in a tent with their spouse. The lodging arrangements will be made before you arrive.

There are NO beds in tents, but there are cots! Consider this project like a camping trip but in Africa!
