1040i has taught me that there is no such thing as "the middle of nowhere". The people that we serve are somebody's from somewhere, and they matter. Our monthly support check is my most favorite to write and it blesses me as much or more than the recipients. 1040i also provides the opportunity to be in-country each February and it is an annual highlight for me. Nothing can replace the personal experience of showing up to offer care, love, and support, face-to-face.

The work 1040i does to provide water, healthcare, and education is incredible but the real miracle is in the lives that are touched and forever changed through the work.
